It's time to play outside: cornhole game time!
Cornhole is a classic lawn game in which players toss bean bags at a board with a hole. A bag through the hole scores 3 points; a bag on the board, scores 1 point. The winner is the first to get 21 points.
Kids and adults both play cornhole informally in parties like weddings, family reunions, tailgates, holiday BBQ parties, ...or any day, in backyards or any open space mainly during the warm seasons of the year. It can be played indoors, but it's typically an outdoor lawn game.
The game has become a sport, even with world championships/. Sets for competition (or self-challenge!) have to follow rules regarding size of the board, position and size of the hole, and size and weight of the bean bags. For example, the "regulation" board must measure 2 ft x 3 ft and the "bean" bag must actually must be filled with corn kernels and be square and weight 1 lb and measure 6 inches x 6 inches.
You can build one yourself, or buy a regulation or informal board set from various vendors. This post brings you links to board sets you can purchase from Amazon or Zazzle.
