Shopping Scandal

I didn't know...but August is the best time to buy a PC, second only to Black Friday, August is the best time to get special prices in PCs. And this coincides with the fact that I have to get myself a new computer. My faithful little desktop still does all I need for work and fun (including video games). As my lifestyle grows in complexity, I must be able to do more tasks at the same time...and fast! I have 2 blogs, 2 websites, I do 2D and 3D digital art for a few virtual worlds (aside from art on canvas and a "real world" job!), I collaborate with 2 digital artists to sell in 3 different online shops, and yes, I find time to play video games. The game I play requires that I move my defense or attack in fractions of a second (literally!). Plus, I also need visual precision when making 2D and 3D art. During my search today, I found 2 gaming PCs that called my attention. The first one I found is the iBUYPOWER Elite Gaming Desktop. The  processor is an 8-core AM...

I've always been inspired by the Birth of Venus, by Botticcelli, so I decided to make - not a copy - but a "modernized version"..of her face....a version that would travel from the time of Botticelli to ours, yet retain her air. I therefore saturated the complementary colors present in the original painting and emphasized the line. It's one of my favorite paintings, for its vibrant colors and calm mood. It moves yet it stares at us as it moves. A friend of mine and her husband just finished their diving training and are so happy  they can't stop talking about it. I do not know anything about SCUBA diving but I shared their enthusiasm so I decided to express it in "their terms". But how to "speak Scuba"? As it turns out, I found these t-shirts by a small t-shirt designer and they loved it! And their friends now want them too! The artist is currently at Amazon but soon expanding to another website that allows her to post more designs at a time (Amazon allows only 10 designs at first).
